Peacock

A peacock is a large, colorful bird best known for the male’s dazzling display of long, iridescent tail feathers, which it fans out to attract a mate. The term “peacock” specifically refers to the male of the species Pavo cristatus, while females are called peahens and together they are known as peafowl. Peacocks are native to South Asia but are found in many parts of the world today, often in parks, zoos, and private estates. They are omnivores, eating seeds, insects, and small creatures, and are recognized for their vibrant blue and green plumage, crown-like crest, and the eye-like patterns on their tail feathers.
