Yu-Gi-Oh!

Yu-Gi-Oh! is a Japanese media franchise that began as a manga series created by Kazuki Takahashi. It follows a shy high school student named Yugi Mutou, who solves an ancient Egyptian puzzle that awakens a mysterious spirit within him. This spirit helps him face various challenges—often through intense strategy games known as “Shadow Games.”

The franchise became globally popular through its anime adaptation, especially Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters, where the main focus is on a strategic card game called the Duel Monsters Trading Card Game. Players use decks of monster, spell, and trap cards to battle each other, aiming to reduce their opponent’s life points to zero.

Today, Yu-Gi-Oh! includes multiple anime series, movies, video games, and one of the most popular trading card games in the world, known as Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game.
