Eagle
An eagle is a large bird of prey belonging to the family Accipitridae, renowned for its strength, keen eyesight, and powerful hunting abilities. Found on every continent except Antarctica, eagles inhabit a variety of environments, including mountains, forests, grasslands, deserts, and coastal regions. They are distinguished by their broad wings, hooked beaks, muscular bodies, and sharp talons, which they use to capture prey such as fish, mammals, reptiles, and other birds. Eagles possess some of the sharpest vision in the animal kingdom, allowing them to spot prey from great distances while soaring high above the landscape. Many species build enormous nests, known as eyries, in tall trees or on rocky cliffs and often return to the same nest year after year. Among the most well-known species are the bald eagle, the national bird of the United States, and the golden eagle, admired for its speed and agility. Throughout history, eagles have symbolized strength, courage, freedom, leadership, and resilience, making them enduring icons in cultures, mythology, and national emblems around the world.
