UFOs
Out of this world or just out of sight? 🌌
A UFO, or Unidentified Flying Object, is any object or unusual sight observed in the sky that cannot be immediately identified or explained. Although UFOs are often associated with aliens in popular culture, the term does not automatically suggest extraterrestrial life. A UFO could be a strange light moving unexpectedly, a fast object with no visible wings, or something detected by radar that cannot be matched to a known aircraft. In many cases, these sightings are later explained as military or commercial planes, weather balloons, drones, meteors, satellites, or unusual atmospheric conditions. Today, governments such as the United States often use the more neutral term UAP, meaning Unidentified Aerial Phenomena, to describe unexplained observations that may occur in the air, in space, or even underwater. Until enough evidence is collected to identify what was seen, the object or phenomenon simply remains unexplained.
